right place, right time.
God is truly amazing... before you continue to read my post, sit back for like a minute... 60 seconds... and just reflect on how God has impacted your life in ways you KNOW you couldn't have done on your own.
He's awesome, isn't He? The Revolution Church: India Team came back last Sunday and they were all there at church to share their experiences. I don't think I've ever been so affected by other people's experiences before. they were just sharing about how the Holy Spirit just did MIRACULOUS things in them and through them, and because of that, they wre able to bring hundreds and hundreds of people to know Christ. amazing...
we've been in this series called "revolutionary" at church. basically, a revolutionary is "someone who brings about significant change in their area of influence." today is the 8th and final week of the series, and i'm only now seeing where i fit in with all of this. pastor dave said something in church today that really made me realize how important i really can be in some people's lives to help them know Christ better and just to help them through experiences that i've been through myself. he said, "God put you specifically where you're at to help specific people." and it's so true. God puts you through experiences (good and bad) and situations in your life so that you can reach out to other people going through the same thing, and help them the way God helped you. I see it as God's way of using you as a tool to help others. I think that's gonna be my new way of thinking when God decides to put me through another hardship. It's just His way of setting me up to do great things for other people, in His name.
what's your role? your part? what are you gonna do to reach other people for Christ? lemme know. ;)
