i do not heart verizon.

SUCKS!


i wasted an hour of my time lastnight trying to figure out why my internet was running so slow. it's been a problem that i've had for about a month now, but only had time to deal with it lastnight. so i get on the phone with the verizon high speed internet's tech support. now first of all, one thing that bugs me is how companies want to brag about their "24 hour tech support", so they end up hiring hubs in other countries to be the tech support at odd hours of the night. well, in doing this, we get people on the phone that #1 can barely understand me, and #2, i can barely understand them. so already, before we could even troubleshoot the internet problem, we're trying to troubleshoot the "understanding" problem. to be honest, i'd rather wait til morning to get my issue resolved, than to have to sit on the phone, getting more frustrated because i have to repeat everything i say 56461941564 times!

anyway, back to the business at hand. my internet's been running slow, verizon people suck - so i canceled. i've been with verizon for years now and never had a problem until recently. yes, i know some of you are probably thinking, "annalynn? no internet?" lol. no worries, i have a blackberry and will be using it's tethering feature to get internet access. it's cheaper, it's mobile, and believe it or not, verizon wireless people are waaaay more nicer than verizon high-speed internet people. something about "tech support" reading from a manual what the problem is and not really knowing anything about computers and internet really bugs me. oh well. lesson learned.

LESSON: NEVER DEAL WITH VERIZON HIGH-SPEED INTERNET EVER AGAIN! haha, thanks for reading my vent session.
