there's no victory without the struggle

i was reminded today by some pretty awesome people at church that "struggles" are all part of being a Christian. jerry stout (a super cool dude from church) reminded me that when things go sideways, it's a reminder that you're doing things right. it's the devil trying to attack. gotta keep my armor on. ;) thanks jerry.

pastor dave schooled me on what it takes to be a christian. staying in an attitude of faith even when we feel detached from God - and that our faith goes through seasons just like our world does. so true, right?

anyway, this may seem like a buncha mumbo jumbo to some of you - but it's made things extremely clear for me. thanks pastor dave and jerry stout for your wisdom and for letting God speak through you both today.
