day two: the day one aftermath

it's day two. day one wasn't as bad as i thought it might be, i gotta admit. the people here are pretty cool. one of the guys who was actually real cool and made me feel welcome is leaving tomorrow. bummer.

i've learned a lot. i think i've learned more here in a day and a half than i've learned at any of my past jobs. so, needless to say - i'm diggin' it so far. this new gig is challenging my creative ability and my intelligence all at the same time. pretty nutty, eh? i think that's why i like it so far - it ain't boring! when i get bored, i get restless. when i get restless, i tend to get "uninterested". that's what happened at my other jobs. they were "no-brainer" jobs so i got bored. there was no challenge. easy job, easy money - but it was the constant boredom that got me. lol.

side note: speaking of old jobs... my old boss hired me and my cousin to do save-the-dates, invitations, and other graphic stuff for a huge shindig she's got planned in october! so, that was pretty awesome.

side side note: for those of you that have continued to pray for me other the past few months, thank you. i learned how to truly let Christ navigate my life - and that's when all these awesome things started to pour out over me. ;) Thanks, God. You're awesome..
