missionary ready?

for those of you that don't know... i've submitted my application to pastor christopher for the missions trip to india next february. scary... i know! i'm super nervous and i don't even know if i'm going on the trip or not! hahahaha.

this trip is definitely gonna be a test of my faith. like seriously... a true test of my faith. lol. #1, i don't like indian food - no offense to those that do. i'm not a big curry fan. just the smell of it makes my stomach turn... =T #2, heat and humidity make me feel "not-so-good". heat i can deal with, but when you throw in humidity, that's a whole 'nother beast! haha. #3, i'm not a big "dress" wearer. as a matter of fact, i think i've only worn something other than shorts or pants about 5 times in my life. hahahaha. hey! hey! hey! don't judge. ;) and well... i think all the girls have to wear the traditional female clothing - and yeah, not lookin' forward to that.

but, those are just petty things... things i'm looking forward to "getting past" once i'm there. i know God's gonna use me in so many life-changing ways. life changing hopefully for them and me. word?

i'm nervous though. i'm nervous for the interview i have next sunday (pray for me, btw) and i'll definitely be nervous if they tell me i'm going to india with them. yikes! hahahaha. okay wait, nevermind... God's got my back. gotta stop worrying. ;) thanks for the reminder, pastor dave.
